One who prays is a friend indeed.
And right now I am in need of friends. Friends who will pray. Friends who will encourage. Friends who will care enough to bring my needs to our Heavenly Father.
I leave for my 5th trip to Rwanda on Wednesday. If you'd be willing to pray you can do so by signing up below. I need a strong team of prayer warriors that will lift me up and will pray for those we come in contact with in the villages as well. I need people to pray for the church leaders I will meet with on Friday to share once again how to live "A Worshipful Life".
Here are a few ways to pray specifically -
- Rest and adjustment to new time zone
- For pastors and leaders to have open hearts as we teach and share and most of all, for the Holy Spirit to move in deep and powerful ways as we enter His presence. (worship conference is Friday, Sept. 16)
- For physical safety and emotional stability as exhaustion added to all that we experience and witness can be a very difficult combination.
- For many people to come to know Jesus as Savior.
- For Satan to be bound.
- For the new churches that we plant to be established and confirmed, having a solid foundation built on Jesus Christ.
- For strong bodies and sharp minds.
- For God to be glorified!
- For our families we leave at home.
Thank you for praying! I will post a detailed calendar of each day tomorrow!
VERSE OF THE DAY (NLT) - Philippians 4:4
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again--rejoice!
Dear Jan, I will be praying and I have you down for the 17 but my friend I'm asking the Lord to remind me every day and at all times to put you in my thought so that I can pray at ALL times for you and your team as you go to teach HIS Gospel and HIS name will be Glorified every moment of your trip and for each of you to experience HIS Glorious blessings in you and all around you.
I love you my friend,
Alice
